Special Economic Zone In Indonesia - For the past five years, Indonesia government has been rapidly developing Central Java for newindustrial park at Java. During his visit to Central Java region, President Joko Widodo pushes the regional government to build more infrastructure and offer more facilities to leverage Central Java as the new idol for Indonesia industrial park. “We need to think of giving the investors more incentives for Central Java Industrial Park," said Jokowi.

Industrial Park In Indonesia - For the past five years, Indonesia government through Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) has been promoting Central Java as the most promising region for investment. There is no wonder that Central Java industrial estate business has been eyeing to some areas on the province. The head of Investment Coordinating Board, Bahlil Lahadalia, stated that Central Java is the most accommodative province for investors because of its easiness process of doing business, manpower skills, and government innovation.

Central Java Industrial Park - As a province with more than half Java island population living here, Central Java becomes promising region in terms of the human resources optimization. Out of almost 35 million people living in the province, more than 50% of them are on productive ages. This is seen as demographic bonus for business owners especially those who want to invest on Central Java industrial estate. Compared to other big provinces in Indonesia, Central Java also offers workers with strong working behaviors.

Central Java Economic - After rapid development in the capital city, Jakarta, and favorable tourist destination, Bali, Indonesia government targets other cities in different regions to attract investors. For the past five years, Central Java has been prepared to join the hype business of Industrial Park in Indonesia. There are at least two Central Java industrial estate which have been developed and promoted to both domestic and foreign investors. Apart from reform strategy by Central Java government, the region itself has already becoming the main selling to the investors. The history, geographical and demographic bonus are more than enough as reasons to invest the business in Central Java.

As the development of first phase will be finished at the end of 2020, Kendal Industrial Park (KIP) attracts more investors to come and set up their businesses on this new special economic zone. Starting its development on 2016, KIP has been occupied by 62 tenants and it keeps getting more and more potential business owners afterwards. The aim of the developers to be one of the best industrial park in Indonesia pushes KIP to seek more promising investors to set deals on this industrial area.

In the last three years, Jakarta provincial government has been intensively relocate people who live in illegal areas to subsidized public housings. This was done to support the central government's program for the normalization of Ciliwung River in the context of the flood eradication program, especially in Jakarta. There are 23 public housings in five Jakarta regions with more than 30,000 residents. Even though Managing Director of PD PAM Jaya, Erlan Hidayat, committed to improve their service to provide clean water, many of the residents are still complaining for the availability of water service at their places.

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) chief Bambang Musyawardana said the Jakarta province is a hundred percent ready for flood as every agency has synergized well this year. “We have enough logistics to meet the needs of flood victims,” he told Tempo on Sunday. The Jakarta government receives many donations from private parties, NGOs and other stakeholders. The donations are in forms of rubber boats, foods and medicines.
